PRECAUTIONARY PRINCIPLE:
Even those who do not “accept” the science showing adverse biological effects of microwave exposure should recognize the need to be careful with the health of children. For this reason we have the Precautionary Principle, which states:
In order to protect the environment, the precautionary approach shall be widely applied by States according to their capability. Where there are threats of serious or irreversible damage, lack of full scientific certainty shall not be used as a reason for postponing cost effective measures to prevent environmental degradation.
If we are to err, please let us err on the side of caution.

The Sensitivity of Children to Elecromagnectic Fields.
Published by Pediatrics: The Official Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics; 2005
Consistent epidemiologic evidence of an association between childhood leukemia and exposure to extremely low frequency (ELF) magnetic fields has led to their classificationby the International Agency for Research on Cancer as a “possible human carcinogen.” Concerns about the potential vulnerability of children to radio frequency (RF) fields have been raised because of the potentially greater susceptibility of their developing nervous systems; in addition, their brain tissue is more conductive, RF penetration is greater relative to head size, and they will have a longer lifetime of exposure than adults.

The Influence of Being Physically Near to a Cell Phone Transmission Mast on the Incidence of Cancer
Horst Eger, Klaus Uwe Hagen, Birgitt Lucas, Peter Vogel, Helmut Voit
Published in Umwelt·Medizin·Gesellschaft 17,4 2004, as:
‘Einfluss der räumlichen Nähe von Mobilfunksendeanlagen auf die Krebsinzidenz’
"The result of the study shows that the proportion of newly developing cancer cases was significantly
higher among those patients who had lived during the past ten years at a distance of up to 400 metres from the cellular transmitter site, which has been in operation since 1993, compared to those patients living further away, and that the patients fell ill on average 8 years earlier."

Vista Del Monte Elementary school officials will launch cell tower study to address concerns about cancer.

"Five years ago, Sprint erected an 85-foot cell phone tower in the middle of California's Vista Del Monte Elementary school. At the time, Sprint studied the tower's structural safety and an initial power reading, but since then teachers and students have become increasingly concerned about the tower's electromagnetic effect on health. Teachers and staff at the school, in the Victoria Park neighborhood, have expressed concerns about the number of cancer cases that have appeared at the school since the tower was installed."
